I'm wearing an engagement ring today. It feels very strange to be wearing a ring on that particular finger because when I do wear rings (not very often), I always slip them onto the ring finger of my right hand. This ring is a beautiful diamond solitaire, which I chose over rubies and sapphires and emeralds... and it came at a good price...

The price of free! As you can tell, I was a little bored at work today, and a shipment of kiddie toys came in which I was unpacking. Amongst the sticky hands and helicopters were a tray of "birthstone rings," from which I selected this giant diamond and decided to propose to myself. We're very well suited for each other, you know - we seem to always know what the other is thinking and she and I laugh at the same jokes...

I think we'll be together forever. ;)
